Glen Echo art camp for 6 year old??

Anyone have experience with Glen Echo art camps?

Yes, they are terrific. Some are smaller groups than others. My DD and DS went to one week last summer and he was totally overwhelmed but some of the bigger kids were really kind and accompanied him on a nature walk (they all went).

My DD returned for the Winter one week camp and liked it so much she is going back in Spring.

It will depend on your child and how into art they are. But the rooms are always full of kids focused on what they are making - there's time outside to run off steam too, but generally its a really good, quiet atmosphere.

Good question. I didn't need it so I don't know - but their spring and summer camp schedules are up on their webpage - so you'll probably find the answer there.
