what time to leave DC to get to BWI for a 1pm flight today?

| I never fly out of BWI so I'm not at all familiar w/ the logistics. Traveling internationally w/ 2 kids (7 & 8 years old- no strollers or anything). Thanks! |

| For an international flight with 2 kids I would be there 2 hours in advance. About an hour to get there. So, 2 1/2 to 3 hours before your flight I would leave. |

| Are you parking or getting dropped off? If you're doing the long term parking lot, factor in 20 minutes. |

| We are driving and parking. So, 9:30-10? Seems so early, but would be good to get lunch there I guess if we have time. |

| I'm a total nervous nelly when it comes to being on time to the airport. The absolute latest I'd leave is 930, but would be shooting for 915. I'm in NOVA so that's extra travel distance from DC |

I work the time backwards: for example: flight is at 1 pm: so I want to be there and through security by 12 (for international they board early so make it 11:30); I know it will take me x long to drive and park and take shuttle: say an hour so that's 10:30-- then budget in mishaps: I usually give an extra 30 min-- traffic problems ect... So that's 10--
