Didn't get into immersion, Are you looking at Privates?

OK, so if you live in downcounty consortium, and you didn't get into immersion, are you going to stick it out in an underperforming school, or go private? I am flipping out! Any advice, other than hold breath and wait for Takoma Park magnet???

It's also a lottery and very few out of boundary kids get in (don't know if that applies to you). Also, from what I hear the "GT magnet" portion has been so watered down/cut out as to be virtually non-existent.

What school are you zoned for in downcounty consortium? It would really depend on the school.
