Travis and Taylor

Travis, who refers to Taylor as his Significant Other, announced that she had donated 4 tickets for her Eras tour to the auction. This is the best I’ve seen Travis dressed since they’ve been together. Very very handsome in a regular suit. If I knew how to drag pictures and video in here, I’d post it!

You must be referring to the video of them walking hand-in-hand into the event. LOVE what they’re wearing! Gorgeous couple! Is it me, or does Travis’ hair look a little different? Maybe a little longer? Makes him look younger.

Why are those two always wasted when together.

So many red flags with this “relationship.”

DH and I met when I was 29 and have been together almost 30 years. We don't glow as brightly as we used to but the banked warmth is still there. For someone who thought never to have this, I'm alway appreciative even when in a rough patch.

She has lots of sparkle and joy at Gillette Stadium in Boston when she told the crowd on that rainy night that this is the happiest she has ever been in her life, “in all aspects” of her life. How her life finally makes sense. Right before she played her surprise song, Question, which is inspired by guess who?
It isn’t Travis or Joe or Harry

So what? She's never been as public with a relationship as she has with Travis. Matty was just a stepping stone. She's certainly been with Travis longer than Matty.

Umm, no? Her love for Matty spans a decade+.

I think he was her “one that got away” but she moved on with Joe. When that fell apart, she reconnected with Matty and it was especially powerful in the aftermath of her dead relationship. I don’t believe she was pining for 10 years, or that they were involved during that time. People are writing fiction.

He’s chaotic and profound at the same time, funny, quick-witted, sardonic, oddly brilliant in flashes before he reverts to a weird little muppet, very likely reeking of cigarettes and cabernet, and for some reason this combo is irresistible. He just scratches something in my brain.

But also: uh, he’s a rock star. It’s a thing.

Rock star to whom?

Just to thousands of people filling his band's arena shows globally

Arenas? lol no

You're welcome!

Watched his whole concert.

Did anyone notice the cowboy boot on his piano? "Cowboy like me." reference? There are so many parallels to his songs and Taylor, this was years in the making.

Are there truly multiple people fixated on Matty? Are they discounting the amount of time Taylor and Travis spend together and how they appear to be having a completely happy and solid relationship?

multiple people are coming at this from different perspectives. We don't know how much time Taylor, Matty, or Travis spend together. We only see what they want the public to see.

I don't understand how anyone can hear The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived and think she wants to get back together with Healy.

Not my insight, but if you turn the TTPD logo upside down, it says “call”

Your teens are smart.

"Wait. Pretend (don't let go)
Hold on and hope that we'll find our way back in the end." - Matty Healy, About You

At the end of her Fortnight video, they do find each other, which I think is what she is hoping for.

That is Travis in that scene. Postie is representative of all of the men who were her muses in this album.

Right! Her muses acquired like bruises.

Representing all men or just the one in the lab coat?

There’s a reason the Matty troll is constantly on this thread - to incite. Why else go on and on about it on a “Travis and Taylor” thread. Suggestion - if you’re not here spitefully, then start a Matty and Taylor thread and fantasize there to your heart’s content.

Interesting she was so fixated on this album that guys wouldn't call her back or answer her phone and IRL Travis wanted her to call him, gave her his number.

Even with the face tattoos and stupid metal teeth, he is somehow still more attractive than the other guy.

Matty's music is less overtly about people but Change of Heart was rumored to be about Taylor and I think The Sound was also about her (bc he had a meltdown onstage in dec 2014 when he had been seeing her and the song references what he said onstage).

Later music about her is the 1975's Me & You Together Song (M&YTS-- get it? and the video references a video of hers)- lyrics ref Taylor's (I'm sorry that I'm kinda queer, it's not as weird as it appears
It's 'cause my body doesn't stop me (stop me)
Oh, it's okay, lots of people think I'm gay
But we're friends, so it's cool, why would it not be? (Not be) and the story needing more pages references her Death by A Thousand Cuts.
His Roadkill also references her (playing your song on the radio station/mugging me off all across the nation) and repeats the lyric from Robbers that she repeats in The 1 ("If you don't shoot, then you'll never know"
You should've learned that quite a while ago)
