We are renovating our bathroom and the double vanity is in a little alcove thing (surrounded by walls on the side and wall (obviously) behind it). We presently have side medicine cabinets in addition to the large mirror above the vanity. It has always bothered me that we don't have a hook or a holder for a hand towel; but looking at Houzz, maybe people don't do hooks for hand towels anymore?
Are people still doing hooks for hand towels in the master bathroom? If not, what do I do with the towel? Feeling lost. Love our side medicine cabinets, but the towel situation is driving me nuts. Thanks for any advice! |
| Hotels sometimes have hand towel rails on the edge of the vanity (facing you). |
| I don't don't use a hand towel. I dry my hands on my bath towel hanging on the wall. I too rarely see hand towels in bathrooms |
| So no one puts a hand towel rack in anymore? Are these outdated now? |
| I roll up a hand towel and put it in the edge of the sink, like a hotel. |
| You could get a stand for your hand towels. Or maybe put a small rack or hook on the walls. We have both - hooks and stands, depending on which bathroom. But, we couldn't do without hand towels. |

The statue towel holder is the most interesting, and probably easiest to use!

We use a hand towel stand very similar to these:

| Hmm. We have hand towel racks on the walls of our bathroom. In our small powder room we have a hook on the side of the sink (from Ikea). |

Ooh, I love these ideas! |
