I'm hoping the rule of thumb of the earlier the better isn't accurate.

| Sadly, the earlier the better. We travel to India regularly over Christmas and you don't want to wait too long...fares can be almost double in December! |

| I feel like there is a sweet spot around September. I don't think you'll see the best price if you look now; but if you keep an eye on fares, you'll get a good sense of the market price and you'll see a dip if it comes. |
