| Is this still a good cream to use? What does it treat, wrinkles or skin tone, or what? My derm rx'd me Retin-A but I can't remember why. I think I mentioned adult acne though I was there for a pre-cancerous lesion primarily. So I have this tube of Retin-A and was hoping it's a great thing for wrinkles or skin plumping too. Anyone know? |

It will work for increasing skin collagen which will help with wrinkles but may take awhile.
It should also help with the acne, though if that's a concern you may want to ask about a benzoyl peroxide face wash- i'm in love with mine and while it doesn't keep my skin entirely clear on its own- it does an awesome job by itself compared to other things I've tried. Almost to the point i can stop the oral antibiotics (but not quite, so it would seem from a current breakout..first time its been bad in months though!) It's rx but costs a whole $4 at walmart. Cheaper than most of the OTC crap. |
| It didn't work for me. It made my skin red and flaky. The dr gave me this "correcting" cream when that happened but that was all the time so i just stopped. |
| I use it for adult acne and love it. I use it every other evening. I feel like I get the best of both, it works on the acne and wrinkles (I don't really have any). I am TTC though so I had to stop last month and can totally tell the difference. And if it is prescribed for acne, have your doctor submit a note to your insurance as medically necessary and it should fall under your prescription plan (otherwise is quite expensive). |
