I am so sick and tired of reading about how Cam Newton was rude, disrespectful, whatever, in his post-game comments. He wore a sweatshirt and gave short, to the point answers. Completely fine and understandable. A white head coach can do the same thing and it's somehow endearing. I have no explanation other than racism and I am so sick of the double standard applied against African American quarterbacks. |
What did he say? |
Racism??? Really? He was being an asshole, just like Belichik or who ever. RACE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. |
You get it. A lot of people don't. |
Yeah, Belichik is the biggest asshole there is. And plenty of people call him on it. And plenty of people are his apologists. And he continues to succeed in the sport. All that will happen with Newton, too. Jerks come in all flavors. |
+100 Nothing to do with race. Everything to do with his disappointing attitude. His behavior is not one worthy of the role model many make him out to be. Shameful for kids to witness. |
Well Bill Belichick pulls moves like this all the time and is a white, older, man and pretty much everyone outside NE Pats fans think he's an asshole. |
If I were him, I would have walked out of the interviews as well. How many different ways can he answer the same questions. He gave an acceptable answer on how the Broncos played a better game (no kidding) but he had an awful game and he had no reason to sit there and take a beating. Go home, Cam. And he did. |
Oh, brother... He is a jerk! Simple as that. |
Lol, how is this racism? He was a jackass and you defending that idiot doesn't help your supposed cause. |
Lol, really? Hahhahahahhahahaha |

Hope all you knee jerkers have since learned that Cam's presser was so near a Bronco's presser that Cam could hear all the insults from the Broncos player. Cam did his duty and left without making a scene. Who wants to stay around and be insulted? |
He was unsportsmanlike. He needs to grow up. |
how come he didn't dance yesterday? |
