Is SWS at Peabody a DCPS program?

Anonymous
I am confused about how to apply for this, and forgive me but there is a problem with their website tonight so I couldn't get the information I need. I know the Montessori at Watkins is something you apply for separately regardless of in bounds/ out of bounds. Is SWS the same, or if I apply would that be considered one of my OOB slots?

Thanks!

SWS is located on the third floor of the Peabody campus. It is considered one component of the cluster schools. Yes you must apply seperately from Peabody. The are two totally seperate programs. There is a big difference in the diversity of the two, and from what I understand the program is arts based. Good Luck getting in.

SWS gives priority to in-boundary students. We are OOB and something like #233 on the waitlist for the fall so not expecting to get in. From everything I saw and read it looks like an outstanding program. It is a Reggio Emilia program.
