Kid-friendly hotel (so pool!) to stay at by Philadelphia Amtrak station?

| Any recommendations? I'm looking through reviews on hotels.com, but I wanted to ask the DCUM peanut gallery too. We're looking for a hotel with a pool and hopefully within walking distance to a few things. Thoughts? Thanks! |

| Nothing is really walking distance to 30th street. There is every major brand in center city. Homewood suites is nice...free breakfast too. |

| You'll need to stay in center city . The station is situated between Drexel/Penn and center city- there is nothing super close. You'll need to take a cab if you have suitcases. I'd stay in Rittenhouse. |

?? Strange comment. It's a large city with major chain hotels. They're fine. I happen to love Philly. If you are looking for a pool near 30th St. Station, I'd try the downtown Marriott. A very quick cab ride away. I can't think of a hotel that's in easy walking distance to the station, unfortunately. But the Marriott is well located. I'd also consider staying in Rittenhouse Square or Old City. Philly is a really walkable city. Have fun! |
