| I'm sure there are tons who have gone the other way around. But I am specifically wondering if anyone switched from IPHONE to SAMSUNG GALAXY, NOTE or any other ANDROID based phone AND ARE HAPPY having changed. |
| Yes. I Harv had moto x and now the nexus. I will never go back. I do love the iPhone, but the Google integration is way more useful for me. |
| PP, what is the cost differential between the Nexus and a new iPhone? Is it a good deal? |
| I switched from an iPhone to moto x and really liked the x. The only thing I missed was FaceTime. Switched back to iPhone and now I miss my x. |
| I made the switch and was unhappy. My AP uses iPhone, so before the iMessages were free, but now texts are costing me a fortune! |
| I made the switch and regretted it. I'll go back to an iPhone when my HTC gives up the ghost. |
| My husband has bought android phones twice and both times returned them after a couple of days and went back to the iPhone. He just felt like it was a pain in the ass. |
|
I switched a few years ago and went back. My android phone crashed often and didn't offer anything my iphone doesn't. I also use a mac. So happy when I went back to the iphone. Phone just works. I don't think about it.

| IPhones are for the stupid. Purchase Android phones built by Google (nexus), stable and first to get new features. |
|
Switched and never looked back. I hate apple though. I feel like the environment is so restricted and really object to that on a philosophical level.
But I also just straight up like my android (note) way better than my iPhone. In particular swype and the stylus are the best thing ever. |
| I switched from iPhone to a Galazy phone, and it was about the dumbest thing I ever did. Now, thankfully, back to the iPhone. I'll never switch again. |
Which android is that? |
| DH switched from his old iphone to a new Android. He went from the 4S (OLD phone) to a Samsung S6. I had had a Samsung Android for a while, so he was at least a little used to the interface. He likes it, and the fact that it was a lot cheaper than upgrading to a comparable iphone. |
| I switched from iPhone to Galaxy and haven't looked back. The Galaxy is so intuitive and easy to use; I love it. My DH finally got rid of his iPhone and got a Note. He is thrilled with it, always hated his iPhone. He immediately put all his music onto his Note without having to deal with iTunes, and was a happy camper. We'll never go back to Apple. |
Couldnt you use Google Facechat? |
