I am not looking to jump ship at the moment, but am open to it. I've been contacted at seemingly random times by recruiters for jobs (not good fit or not enough pay). I would like to improve my profile. Right now, it's just job titles and a chronology of work and school. Any thoughts on what to do recruiting posters? From what I read, linkedin isn't supposed to be a full resume. But how do you fill in a summary without it looking like it?
I share more my articles and youtube videos, blog articles rather than so mush work experience
Google "optimize LinkedIn profile" and there should be a bunch of suggestions. Off top of my head, they include things like having your picture, summary/overview of your experience and skills, etc. Personally, I have my full resume there in addition to the summary. Also, the skills section is really important. Include any specialized skills and/or software.
Your heading or title should be appealing to recruiters, and not just be something like Associate III or your official title that nobody outside of your company understands.
