I am 45, and I think I am implanting. The midline pain has been going on for 2 days, and is quite uncomfortable. Is that normal?
(I want to spend as little time with the doctor as possible, so I decided to try this forum first) |
| I think it's different for everyone (some women don't even have it). For me, it was about 10 days past ovulation, and the pain only lasted a couple of hours. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling crampy, thinking I was going to get my period. When I woke up that morning, the pain was gone, and about a week later I got a positive pregnancy test. |

Are you sure it is implantation pain? It could be ovulation pain or something else like a fibroid or something?
When I got pregnant, I did not feel implantation at all,I had no pain at all. I think implantation pain is very rare and if it were to occur I don't think it would last that long, it's probably something else. |

I am 6 months pregnant thanks to IVF. I was convinced it hadn't work. During the 2 week wait, I had bad back pain, which I thought to be endometriosis adhesions flaring up. Turns out it was the uterus enlarging and pressing on some tender spots. The pain lasted for several weeks.
Fact of the matter is that you never know what is going on in there. Every woman reacts differently -just to stay positive, but don't spend a lot of time assessing every different sensation you have. Hang in there -I know the 2ww can be brutal. Wishing you the best! |
| Wishing you the best. It's safe to say implantation pain is different for everyone. I felt it 4 days after transfer. It was a sharp pain that lasted for a couple of hours. hope that helps. I hope it worked for you. Sending Baby dust your way! |
