cycles after going off pill

How long did it take your cycles to become regular again after going off the pill? How old were you?

I was 32 and it took about 2 months. Then it took another year to get pregnant. Apparently if you're on the pill for a long time it can erode your uterine lining and it takes a while to built up to support a pregnancy. For some people onc not for all, I know plenty who got pregnant first or second cycle off the pill.

It went right back to normal as soon as I went off. Well, a few days off but that's nothing. And this was after 10 years on the pill.

I had a regular (for me) + 2 days cycle (I usually O on CD17-18 and O'ed on CD20) my first month off the pill. Second (and subsequent) months were totally regular. I was 30 and had been on BCP for 12 years. Took me 13 months to conceive due to tubal issues.

About 3 months. Had a long cycle (~40 days) the first month off, regular period second month, anovulatory third month. Totally regular after that. I was charting, which is how I know all of this. I was 30/31. Didn't start TTC until about 6 months after things got regular but I got pregnant quickly once we started trying.

Years. I was on the pill for 16 years, stopped when I was 34 and my period just wouldn't come back. Got pregnant through IVF and when my baby was 6 months, my period finally came back.

Was on pill at 19 and off at 33. Period never came back (one in 6 mos). All tests were normal. I conceived with clomid (first month I tried it, at six months post pill). Never used hormonal birth control after DD was born. Period came back a month after I stopped nursing and after about four months became very regular. Now trying to conceive 2nd.

I went off the pill just before I turned 40, after having been on it for eight years. I was off it for three months (without my cycles getting back to normal), and then got pregnant.

Was on the pill from age 18-34. Went off and waited 5 months - decided to take progesterone to jump start it and it worked. But then periods were 45-65 day cycles. Had a miscarriage 8 months later, afterwards my cycles have been 30-34 days for six months. Still trying 6 months since the miscarriage.
