| I would like to try a Stroller Strides class but don't have a jogging stroller, I have a Cameleon. I will not be buying another stroller because I think my daughter deserves a mother. My husband will probably kill me if I tell him the stroller is at all inadequate. According the the website, any sturdy stroller that won't tip over will do, but I don't know anyone who has done it without a jogger. Has anyone out there? |
| I did it with a bugaboo, but not for long (just didn't like the class). But there were folks doing it with gracos, so I don't think you need a jogger. |
| I did Stroller Strides w/ a jogger but there were a fair amount of women who had other random models. I think the key is that you use a stroller w/ tires so your baby is rattled around too much as you run in between stations. |
| I didn't use a jogger and was fine. Have fun! |
I don't understand that statement. |
I think the OP was joking as her next sentence said her husband will probably kill her if she gets another stroller. |
| I did it last summer w/ a Bugaboo Frog and it was fine. Have fun! I enjoyed the classes very much! Where are you taking them? |
I think it means that if she wanted to buy more stuff, she'd have to get someone else to mother her child while she got a job to pay for the stuff. |
| OP here, clarifying my poorly constructed joke: yes, I joked that my husband would kill me if I bought a stroller on top of the expensive Bugaboo we received as a gift. Was not taking a swipe at moms who work outside the home (since I am one). Sorry for the confusion and for not being very funny. But thanks for your responses! |
| I did stroller strides all last summer when my DS was in the graco snugride & stroller frame. It wasn't the best, but worked OK, so you should be more than fine with the bugaboo. You also go at your own pace so you don't need to job if you don't want to. |
