Gift ideas for 6-year-old

Hi DCUMs - I'm looking for ideas on what to give my friend's son for his sixth bday. I'd like to spend around $20. He's pretty much a "typical" boy - likes sports, WII, etc.

I would very much welcome recommendations.

I have a son turning 6 - so I think I'm qualified to answer

Legos (especially Star Wars)
Books - Star Wars, Spiderman, etc.
Nerf Dart Gun (they shoot suction cup darts) - but you might have to buy two - one for his opponent!
Bakugon (I'm sure I spelled that wrong)
Pokemon
Webkins

stomp rocket
nerf ball gun or suction dart gun
star wars anything- esp lego (some of the star wars one are for ages 6-12 and my 6 year old can actually do them)

My 6 yo son just had a birthday this weekend, and the very first gift he played with were rocket balloons.

just be careful with the gun suggestions. Unless you know the mom allows it -- otherwise stay clear. I have 3 boys and do not allow gun toys in my house. I don't care how freakin' neon yellow they are. And I'm not a granola crunchy organic mom -- I just don't think guns should be toys.
