What tv shows after Disney/Nick Jr?

Anonymous
What do kids ages 6-8yrs old watch? My 6yr old doesn't watch a lot of TV and she still seems content with a few cartoons. I want to get her to watch a few shows that are more exciting for her age. She started watching Arthur but isn't that into it. She loves Crashbox on HBO so that is fun. But are there any shows on TV geared towards younger elementary school age? I certainly don't want the next step to be the teen type shows that were like Hannah Montana, etc... I couldn't find Magic School Bus on TV at all. But series like that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Magic school bus is on Netflix. We also watch pbs kids (Wild kratts, odd squad, etc.)

Wild kratts. It strikes a nice balance between learning and entertainment. Also, how it's made is a regular request around here.

Full House? You mean the show where they play spin the bottle, sneak out of the house, explain what 1st, 2nd, 3rd base is etc...

Just Wow. I don't think OP is looking for that for a kindergarten student.

My 6 year old (1st grade) watches Miles Tomorrowland and Star Wars Rebels. Neither is amazing, but neither is awful.

With his younger sister, he watches Octonauts. He has outgrown Doc McStuffins and other Disney Jr. shows, though.

He also loves America Ninja Warrier and a lot of sports games (basketball, football, baseball -- when do pitchers and catchers report? I'm ready, too!).

I don't remember that on Full House. It's the one where the dad and his friend raise the dad's three kids. It's old, but I think they might be making a new episode.

My kids also like Good Luck Charlie.

Kimmy gets drunk
DJ's 13th birthday they are playing spin the bottle in the basement
A boy breaks up with DJ after going to 2nd base
The girls sneak out of the house to go to a party
The girls shoplift

Come on people. This was definitely Full House and your 6yr olds are watching it?

Magic Schoolbus, Wild Kratts, and Odd Squad are staples for my 6yo.

He also likes the How to Train Your Dragon series spin-off.
