| My son is turning 14 in February and we are struggling to come up with birthday party ideas. Obviously, it needs to be inside since it is February. Anyone have any suggestions in the Arlington/Alexandria area? |
|
Have you asked him?
If he doesn't have any ideas he might not actually want a bday party this year. Let him go to the movies and hang out with his friends. |
| Bowling? |
| Skiingw family and no party? |
|
Spy Museum
Trampoline or laser tag place |
| What about taking a small group to the panic room in Old Town? |
This. |
| Thanks for the great suggestions! And yes he does want to do something with his friends for his birthday but just isn't sure what - it's a tough age. |
| Mine is having a small party at home - pizza, junk food, music.... |
| I would ask him. At that age my now 16 year old did not want birthday parties. |
| PP, here. Didn't see your reply before I posted. How about something here. http://www.tacticalairsoftarena.com/ |
| Omg he's 14!! You should not be planning his birthday party. Not with friends. His friends. Way to make him a social loser! |
He probably does know. If he's like my son he's too sweet to tell you he wants to do something on his own without you for fear of hurting your feelings |
+1. My son had his at one of those mystery/escape rooms in Old Town. Very cool, and his friends liked it. There are a handful of them now in DC and VA (not sure re: MD). |
| If he can't come up with something on his own then he doesn't get a party. He is capable |
