My dog loves the snow so much

Anonymous
I swear, this is his happiest time of the year.
He jumped off our front porch into the front yard this afternoon, a big old belly flop, and then he rolled around on his back for about five minutes.
Normally he'd body-surf down the hill in the snow, but I think it's too deep this time for that.
He's a lab, of course. I love having a pet who is always happy, always enjoying his life, maybe not the most brilliant mind ever born, but just enjoys every day that he's been given.

Our lab is so happy to go jumping around in the snow. She loves it.

My pit bull loves it too! He's so curious about if

Our puppy loves it as well. She seems to have no problem bounding through 24 inches of snow even though she is not that tall herself.

My Shiba Inu is not too crazy about it. He seems very distressed and unsure. I know he hates water and getting wet so that's probably what makes him to enjoy the snow.

Can't convince my Maltese to enter the snow. She hates it I think she thinks it's my fault all her nice grass is gone actually.

But I agree with you about dogs enjoying every day of life. My dog appreciates everything and just watching out the window brings joy. It's sweet to see and my fav part about owning dogs!

Yes! My little mutt loves it too. My favorite is when he rubs his face in it. He runs in it so much, he gets ice balls in his fur. It does make me happy to see how happy he is

My dog adores the snow. She is such a winter/snow dog. She romps around in it, shoves her face in it, and I see her out there just laying in it for long stretches, enjoying herself.

Only downside is all the snowballs that get stuck on her. They become like a coat of armor that I have to rinse out in the tub. I never thought I would, but I'm considering getting her a snowsuit that covers her legs.

It's too deep for my dog. She's 50lbs so she sinks in and can barely move. The first day she was so friggin excited, jumped in and tried to run and basically was in over her head. So sad. It is getting a bit better now that the snow is crusting over a bit.

Mine too. Loved sitting outside while we were shoveling and getting snowed on. Loved swimming through the snow. Liked licking the snow.

My dogs are very much like me - excited about the snow on Friday and Saturday, less impressed on Sunday and Monday, thoroughly over it by today. It probably doesn't help that I have to wash the salt and chemicals off of their feet after every walk.

Lab mom too. She loves it!

Another happy lab over at our house too. She is crashed out on the floor from all the snow play the past few days.
