Kind of annoying when a bunch of threads from 2012 start popping up in Recent Topics |
Someone posts on lots of ancient threads, about lots of different things. Its not just colds. |
I identified the "colds" poster and not only were those threads old, they were posted in General Parenting instead of health. So, I removed them. Every once in a while, someone comes along and bumps a lot of old threads like that. I never know why, but it is strange.
|
In this case it is because this poster wanted to prove that milk from the fridge causes kids to be constantly ill with colds. I believe she also started or bumped some threads about warming milk/ cold formula. Must have been very bored. I was too, thanks for removing those threads and the temptation to continuing to engage. |
Nope. I've consistently said you need to know your own child, and do whatever is best for your own child. Why does that disturb you so much? |
What?!? That sounds crazy. Has she never heard of the germ theory of disease? |
Not PP, but you said very specifically that cold milk actually causes babies to be sick. What "disturbed" the multiple posters who called you out was that this information is not true. |
Oh, you think people don't get colds today? |
Yes, exactly. and your little backpedal about "do what's best for your own child" fails to explain why you bumped a bunch of old threads about colds. Care to elaborate on that one? Was bumping those threads what was best for your own child or something? |
Huh? No one is disputing that people get colds, just the completely inaccurate claim that colds are caused by cold milk. |
Stop already. That nonsense was never said. If you hope to resist illness, you do what you can to build immunity. Notice how some of us can be exposed to almost anything that's commonly floating around, and just don't pick it up? That's due in part to resistance. |
Yeah, you absolutely did say that. Nice try. |
Please show my exact post, without your personal interpretation. |
Jeff please close this thread, the cold lady won't let up. |
