Well I'm delighted to say that St Pats sent an email to 4-8th grade students' families admitting they may well not be open on Monday but there was work for all kids on Haiku so they didn't lose any learning time. Kudos to schools that do that. Love it.

Yet another year of missed school days and learning. If I could afford it, I would just take this semester's $17K tuition and throw it bill-by-bill into the fireplace (not really, but still), at least that way it would give us the benefit of warmth.

I don't get why parents are put out by list learning days...schools build in extra snow days knowing we are going to miss some for snow. Schools in other locations just schedule fewer days. It evens out.

I am fine with no academics. Life is short.

Try some Tums -- sounds like you have a nervous stomach if such an innocuous post caused nausea.

Actually, I smiled when reading this, thinking this is a school I want to know more about for my child. Love it, too!
