Does anyone else get offers to purchase your time share when you don't own one?

My DH has received these for years but has never owned one. We check our credit report regularly and it's clean. It also doesn't seem to be any kind of scam I can turn up on the internet.

A significant percentage of people who own timeshares hate them and want to escape them. So it makes sense to bulk-mail to neighborhoods with a financial/demographic profile that suggests timeshare ownership is prevalent. Wouldn't worry about it.

yes, but I was the victim of an identity theft situation in which a woman purchased timeshares in condos in Florida using my name. I'm glad your credit report is clean.
