Saw this request on another thread and thought it deserved a thread of its own.

Some of you out there are in the very, VERY fortunate position of having gotten accepted to more than one school. Great karma. Please consider the good dharma of making your selection and commitment as early as possible. Other families are not so fortunate and can't move off of the waiting lists until you clear a space. Still others are about to write checks for non-refundable deposits at private schools in order to secure a place.

If you've made a commitment and opened up a waiting list space please consider posting it here so that others know whether or not the school lists they're following are moving.

It was meant as a bit of a joke, I guess I carried the good karma bit too far. Apologies to anyone who is offended. Feel free to rephrase the question as it suits you. Or not. My family is all set, but I have friends I'm crossing my fingers for and hoping they get good luck.
