Is the sports and fitness forum new?

I don't recall having to wade through school sports topics to find the fitness threads I want. Is this a new set-up?

Either way, thumbs down for having school sports topics mixed in with fitness. They are two completely different interests, and I dislike that the adult fitness threads get lost amongst the school sports threads.

(Love the forums in general, though, so thanks for running such a great site.)

We've had Sports and Fitness for a couple of years I believe. Sorry that you don't like that arrangement. I moved fitness around a few times and really couldn't figure out where it worked best. I finally settled on the current set-up.

Okay, just curious. It seems different than it was even a few days ago, but I must be confusing a couple of forums.

It's been like this for at least a year.

+1 - at least two years. Before that it was in Beauty & Fashion.

OP here -- gotcha, thanks! Which forum are weight loss threads typically posted to?

It depends. If it is about the health aspects of weight loss, the health forum. If it is about weight loss and appearance, the Beauty and Fashion forum. If it is about weight loss through exercise, Sports and Fitness. A food related weight-loss thread might even find its way into the Food forum. I really am not concerned as long as you don't put it in General Parenting or Off-Topic.
