Based on the news: http://federalnewsradio.com/workforce/2015/12/obama-authorizes-pay-raise-for-federal-employees-in-2016/
But, from today's email about this week's paycheck, I did not see that 1.3% increase at all. Anyone did? |
| No. It wasn't in this paycheck. |
Then, when? Next time? |
I think next time. This last check was for pay period 26 of 2015, so should be in the next one. |
| We were already told it won't be in this paycheck but the next one -- which we get on Jan 29 via electronic transfer though other agencies may be a few days earlier or later. |
| Nope. |
| No. Doesn't start until the first full pay period of 2016, which began on Jan 10 for me. Also, for DC employees, the raise is 1.45 percent because of locality adjustments, not 1.3. |
| It will be in the Feb 2 paycheck. |
Thought it was 1.46, actually. |
| It is 1.46% for DC metro area. Just heard the confirmation yesterday. |
| Depends on rounding. It will vary slightly for each step and grade, but generally between 1.45 and 1.46. We are talking about ten bucks a year, plus or minus. |
| I just saw my statement for the pay period ending January 9, and it's not on there. They did adjust deductions for the new amount I have set aside for the FSA but no change in base pay. |
I'm this PP. I'm wondering if it will be in the next paycheck since part of this paycheck covered the last days of 2015? Still, it seems like it could've been prorated starting on January 1. |
Depends on your salary, but that's certainly not true across the board. I'm not saying it's going to be a huge increase but if you make 100k, 1% would be $1000/yr. Even if 50% is eaten up by taxes and deductions, that's $500/yr or $20/check. Not big by any means but not exactly 10 cent/check either. |
I meant the difference between 1.45 and 1.46. |
