Best, 5 star hotel in Caribbean (for a couple get away)

Anonymous
My husband and I are celebrating our ten year anniversary next year and want to go all out for a four day get away. We want a super nice hotel and are willing to splurge. Any recommendations?

Peninsula House in the DR
Ritz Grand Cayman or Ritz Reserve Dorado (if you're a Ritz person; two of the top properties I've stayed at w/them)
Rosewood Little Dix
Four Seasons Nevis

Maybe not Ritz Cayman -- here now and very nice but tons of kids

Rosewood Little Dix - amazing

Rosewood Mayakoba - amazing (even the "basic" accommodations are so great with star gazing roofs, outdoor enclosed showers and plunge pools overlooking lagoon)

Any Four Seasons - look up their locations in Carribean

Jade Mountain in St. Lucia. Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Simply amazing.

Four Seasons in Nevis is very nice. If you happen to have tons of AA miles, you can get the price down a bit using points

Rosewood Mayakoba was amazing. Banyan Tree Mayakaba also looked fabulous.

The only we have been that is nicer on a beach was our honeymoon at St Regis Bora Bora.
