Private schools in Southern California are generally significantly cheaper than those in the DC area. Tons of parochial schools from which to choose. So many people are outside the public system that it creates tons of options for parents.

I went to a Lutheran elementary and middle school in SoCal. For 2022, they currently charge only $15K total for a family with three kids for the entire school year or $6800 for a single kid. It was even cheaper back in the 80s and 90s when I attended, it was a solid education. I went on to elite private college and grad school programs.

I'm not sure how private school teachers survive in California, given the low tuition costs.

I don't think it's weird. This is pretty consistent for Kanye West. He's always been one to speak his mind and not care about the backlash. I don't think this family was prepared for this though.

Kim and Kanye have a parent relationship and it's obvious he hasn't done anything violent. If he did trust me they have many resources to get this done, but this has been going on for a while. And if those texts are real no judge will take this seriously with Pete sending him those messages. They all just need to work this out and stop being silly.

I did, and I'd still agree with pp. He's been quiet in the media and super respectful as far as we all know. The texts mention he's asked friends and SNL to not fan the flames. Pete's been sympathetic to Ye's mental health. There is a breaking point, which has been reached understandably, yet he's still not doing anything in public.
