Kane from Kaneshow divorcing and crying on air right now

Anonymous
Wow!

This is like a reality show but on radio and social media. And the customers (listeners) get to participate in it by talking about it in forums and following the actors on social media.

I think this is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!

The callers that call in for this segment, and for Kane Scams, are paid voice actors. They are not real. The Kane Show would be in serious legal troubles if War of the Roses was in fact a real segment, but obviously it isn't. Secondly, although I think that if this a scam to get attention which Kane has done in the past, this would be the lowest of lows. That whole event with him and the insurance thing about not being able to do a show any more was all a scam for people like me who don't listen to tune in to see if he is off of the air. Of course he wasn't and he never mentioned it once. It's all fake radio morning zoo nonsense.

You obviously know nothing about the law. War of the Roses is perfectly legal as the radio station obtains releases from those involved. Also, what proof do you have that War of the Roses or Kane Scams have been "proven to be fake?" Just an FYI - I Heart Radio legal approves every War of the Roses before it is aired.

Here's a Gawker article that says it's all fake, including this statement-- "The veteran producer I spoke to assured me that virtually every war of the roses routine is fake—not least because FCC's rules explicitly require broadcasters to obtain permission to air a call from every participant, and it's highly unlikely that a caught-out cheater would consent to broadcast after learning that he'd just been punk'd.

hahahahahahah 1. It's gawker. 2. we all know how reliable unnamed sources are. Just because one person says they are an actor does not mean all calls are. 3. It's gawker LOL

Hahahaha...it's the law, moron. It's against MD law and FCC regs to record without prior consent. Google that.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Roses is fake...according to Clear Channel (who owns it and plays it on their stations across the country). Duh.
He shared way too much information. Not fair that he has a platform to do so and gain sympathy from his many listeners. The comments being left on her Instagram page are full of hatred. There are two sides to every story. She is actually the one taking the high road by not responding to the negativity on social media.
Nah.. I think she needs to say SOMETHING... The fact that she's not even defending herself speaks volumes... She obviously did something very wrong to suddenly go ghost and not say anything... She begged to be in the spotlight and now, suddenly, she wants to say NOTHING????? She was all about putting her kids on social media and now has NOTHING to say?? Really???

She's up to something....

If roses is fake, or not, it's still entertainment which is cool to me. Granted, I love "reality tv" which might be as "real."

Anyways..... I'm still wishing for the best for Peter, his kids, and Natasha.

I really don't see the point in name calling and mud slinging. There is no winner in all this mess.

I think this is not our business. Not even to discuss about it. Oh well, I understand, I guess you guys don't have anything else do to in your life...

Not correct. In MD you have to be separated for a year before you will be granted a divorce (unless you can prove adultery) but you can file at anytime. Maryland does not have legal separation, you are either married or not married.

Hey team, it's the guy that works for iHeart again. I actually have no problem saying Roses is fake. 100%. That doesn't mean they aren't entertaining, but the whole benchmark is recorded by voice actors and syndicated to morning shows across the country.

No. YOu have to be separated for a year, not living in the same house, and not having sex, before you can file:

(4) 12-month separation, when the parties have lived separate and apart without cohabitation for 12 months without interruption before the filing of the application for divorce;

NOT correct, I lived it and spent the better part of a year at the Circuit Court of MD. I filed a few months after he walked out and was granted a divorce the first day the court was open one year after he left.

Maybe you need to research bipolar. manic stages and depressive stages. It's not being upset about something legitimately upsetting, taking a couple minutes to compose yourself and taking care of your shit. That's called be an adult. Especially at your place of work.

Hilarious!!!!!!

Being an adult...especially at work...means *not* spilling private details of your messy divorce on the radio and then bursting into tears.

Actually, being a radio host (and a good one) means opening yourself up & being more personal than your typical job. Yes, if you're a bank teller, you're not expected to be crying and it would be unacceptable. However, he is on air for how many hours each week talking? It's his job to be personable, to open those doors into his personal life. The funny quirks, the kids, wife, disease and now.

Wrong, pp. We all heard Jack Diamond and Don Geronimo overshare on the radio, but they didn't air dirty laundry related to their divorce or ex...that's just in poor taste. When Don's wife died after a tragic accident, he came on air alone (without sidekicks) and bared his soul in tribute...that was raw, real emotion. Venting about your horrible ex and saying you feel no love for her and feel the same about a toaster oven is just bizarre...and in poor taste. He could have come on and simply said that he was sad to report he was divorcing and that hopes folks will respect his privacy during this difficult time. Period. But he didn't...because he was either trying to score some sympathy or hurt her (or perhaps both).

I guess you didn't hear the whole announcement because he asked everyone to clear the room. It was only at the end, when he started talking about John, Danni, Erick (and Rose) being his family and how true he realized it was, did they come in (crying themselves) saying how much they loved and supported him and without him they wouldn't be there etc. I'm guessing they were still listening in the other room with Erick while he was speaking.

And let me say it was the best $20k I have ever spent!

As a former intern for the show I can also confirm that roses is fake. Voice actors, but I agree with that it doesn't mean it's less entertaining. We all know reality television is fake but millions of people watch it.
