She has been invited and declined

Oh she probably didn’t like the fact that she wouldn’t get paid.

We don't even know if she has a hobby outside of her music career. However, she has an addiction: FAME. This Travis guy is just the latest in an ever increasing list of paramours (real or fake). It is fame that will leave her, she won't leave it and, for as long as she can, she'll keep this teenager–in–love act.

You see, the country-to-pop music switch was done in one goal in mind: To be famous. But, there were a few problems such as: her forgettable vocals, her lack of dancing skills and what not.Enter the ingenue, fragile, perpetually wronged white girl shtick. It's worked spectacularly well because 95%+ of her fan base is made up of the daughters, girlfriends/wives of MAGA men—the princess syndrome runs deep amongst that demographic, very deep. She may not be an astro physicists but she knows her audience VERY WELL.

I live among many young Swifties and I assure you that none are daughters or girlfriends of MAGA men!

This is demonstrably false , predictable and unsurprisingly dumb of you . What exactly is your anecdote—because that's what it is—supposed to mean? 90%+ of white men vote(d) Trump. But you're trying to prove to me that your sh!tty little bubble is the norm??

Meanwhile in reality, only 62% of white men voted for Trump in 2016
https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2018/08/09/an-examination-of-the-2016-electorate-based-on-validated-voters/ and only 57% of white men voted for Trump in 2020.

We are reaching levels of fake not thought possible. Anyone who believes this crap is telling the world they have a sub 90 iq. NFL promoting her and Sunday’s game in tweets with rights to her music. This is so beyond fake.

No actually the song has been pulled. They did not have the approved rights from the label.

This was such a bad move. These media people understand (blatant) copyright violations.

Your data is wrong. Only 58% of white people overall voted for Trump so it’s statistically improbable for the white male group to have swung that much. I can’t find numbers for white men specifically (and don’t care enough to look harder) but 55% of white women voted Trump.

This!

Both these young people are doing great things for society right now. She got over 35,000 young people to register to vote in ONE day. He's been a big advocate of people getting vaccinated and boosted.

It's a pretty serious cultural problem when vapid celebs can spur more action than our own political leaders.

I agree but I blame the political leaders and the political culture.

Ultimately, people just want to be happy and have fun.

I'm not going to fight you but I have a question : who's in her league ? I ask because when I look at her ever increasing roster of ex boyfriends, all I see are men who look like puberty deliberately skipped them.

I also don't understand this line of thinking. Taylor Swift fans don't think Kelce is good enough for her because he's rough around the edges. Well, she dated buttoned-up, well-mannered Joe for years and that turned out to be a dead end.

Personally I think she is socially stunted and is the type to enjoy being chased and talked about with a football player. Very on brand for her persona. BUT, she is an adult and can do whatever she wants. She's not dragging any kids through her b.s. relationships unlike many celebrities so, whatever.

+1. She really does seem weirdly immature for her age, at least with regards to relationships. I mean, I don't even like Joe Jonas but it absolutely seems like she is taunting him right now and inserting herself into someone else's divorce (which DOES involve kids), and that seems really immature to me. That's the kind of thing you think about doing but don't.

But yes, at least she seems to be smart enough not to marry or have kids with any of these guys, so there's really no harm to her somewhat ridiculous love life.

No one taught her how to date and close the deal. She probably missed those lessons in her 20’s because she was busy making millions.

Y'all act like she's some sad spinster. She's only 33 and she just got out of a long term relationship. She has plenty of time for marriage and kids if that's what she's looking for.

It isn’t just MAGA women, it is most white women that have this “OMG things can happen to ME?”

“I guess I just think about all the people that weren’t believed, and the people who haven’t been believed, or the people who are afraid to speak up before they’re afraid they won’t be believed. I just wanted to say I’m sorry to anyone who ever wasn’t believed. Because I don’t know what turn my life would have taken if people didn’t believe me when I said that something had happened to me.”

This was from Tay Tay her self. As someone who has endured a lot of abuse in childhood this quote made me realize why she doesn’t resonate with me at ALL. She plays on this constantly. It took her being assaulted before she could even BEGIN to understand that other people face adversity and even when confronted with the realities of the court system and our world, she STILL isn’t really thinking about anyone other than herself. “I don’t now what turn my life would have taken if people didn’t believe me.” Many people face worse than just not being believed everyday and somehow manage to carry on. Why not start writing about some of their plights (you know the poor people, the abused people) not just your own heartbreak.

The “I’m now a cheerleader, dating the football player from my first song.” Thing that is happening here just plays to this more.

Taylor has obviously seen the Travis Kelce dance compilation videos.

Incorrect. They do have approved rights for this particular ad. They tried last week to use her music for something else but didn't get approval in time then, but then were able to get it for this ad.
