What is the maximum amount borrowable on a TSp general purpose?
What is the calculation for availability? Or what should k search for on the tap page to find it out myself?

Log into your account and go into the loan section. You'll see how much you're eligible to borrow.

I got a 10,000 general loan. I'm guessing max is about 1/2 the balance or some lesser capped amount.

You can borrow up to $50k. There's a page on the website about loan basics but we called and the TSP reps were really helpful.
