I had a miscarriage in 2015 and the first sign that something was wrong was spotting and then a strange burning/stinging sensation in my uterus towards the back. I went to see the doctor at the time and they said I had just pulled a muscle which I knew wasn't true. 2 weeks later I miscarried at 7 weeks.
I am pregnant again after we started trying again in November. I have no spotting but the same odd stinging and burning feeling in my uterus that is constant. Has anyone had this and gone in to have healthy child? I have one child and didn't have this feeling with that pregnancy. Thanks in advance. |

Op here, has anyone had this and it was the sign of a miscarriage or of a ectopic pregnancy?
|
| I haven't had that feeling and I've had lots of miscarriages. |
| I've never had that feeling. One healthy pregnancy, several miscarriages. See a different doctor. Fwiw, I dumped my doctor after she disregarded signals I knew were leading to a miscarriage...she thought I was being a dramatic pregnant woman. |
| op here- I ended up miscarrying. I had slow rising hcg levels and the ultrasound found a very small gestational sac that was (I was told) already disintegrating. Thank you to everyone for your kind responses |
| Good luck OP! Miscarrying really sucks but there's not much you can do. |
| Sorry to hear that, OP. |
| I'm so sorry, OP. I had lower back pain/light burning with my first two pregnancies, both of which ended in mc. I really grew to dread it with each pregnancy, it became an emotional trigger of sorts, but I also felt it in my third pregnancy, which did not end in mc. You just never know. |
| OP, I am so sorry for you. Sending you virtual hugs. |
