So what happens when two people post at roughly the same time, taking the thread out of order? Does the first person need to repost what they already posted to keep it in line? And do they have to quote their post they already posted?

I can't imagine anyone has that kind of time. I'm confused when people inadvertently put their post inside the quoted block, when people have really crazy typos, and when people have really outlandish ideas. Should I report?

Look, OP, people have lives. They post replies to a thread, including a Quick Reply like this one, and then they go back to WORK! (OP clutches pearls in horror.)

Sometimes, people can go for DAYS without looking at DCUM, OP, believe it or not, so if you expect people to give this site a lifetime commitment like joining a cloister, wake up and step away from the computer. There's a whole world out there.
