Do you believe in astrology or zodiac signs for your SO?

New year always means an influx of zodiac and astrology predictions including love and romance. How many people actually believe this stuff and take it to heart when selecting a partner?

We are both pretty intense and I think that having similar intensity helps with balance that has been missing in previous relationships.

I am a scientist. I can not fathom a relationship between the day one is born and the path through life. Ergo, the answer is NO!

No. I was really into astrology for a while and while I don't believe in it, there are definitely sometimes patterns to with people born under the same sign. I know a lot of Capricorns and all of them, every one of them that I personally know, tend to be guarded, very stubborn and not as open minded as other people. All the Aquarius I know are spontaneous and tend to never plan much. However, this could also have to do with the season and month in which they were born.

Real astrology is not what you read in the paper. It's comprehensive and deals with where all the planets were at the time of your birth. Believe it or not it has less to do "the stars" and more to do with symbology and patterns within the symbols. I am a Gemini with my moon and ascendent in Libra.

Its fun to see and there are some uncanny coincidences between my personality and birth chart. I take it all with a grain of salt though.

I agree with you on Capricorns being guarded and stubborn, very true.

Yes. My DH is a Gemini and he is *really* a Gemini - seems to be everywhere at once, a bit moody, charming if a bit superficial, definitely sharp-tongued. Always keeps things interesting, though!
