Does anyone have some insight into the quality of this school? also, it looks like there is no aftercare....does anyone know what options are available to families in that area?

It does have an aftercare and there are spaces

Before and after care is provided on site by a company called Kids Adventures. The school and principal have a good reputation. There is a full Spanish immersion program there.

admission to the spanish immersion program is by lottery. your odds of winning the lottery are low as many families outside of the neighborhood also vie for those spots. more and more neighborhood kids seem to be going to the school and families seem to like the new principal. however, when you ask parents about the school, they're more apt to say, "it's ok" "it's not bad" rather than "it's such a great school." you get sort of lukewarm feedback. hopefully the new principal will keep improving the school.
