Millennial member of my family posts picture on social media of her toddler drinking out of dog bowl

She has 2 dogs.
Her toddler was drinking out of one of their bowls and she took a picture of it and posted it on social media.
Her and her millennial friends on social media think it is cute and funny.
I think it is disgusting.

Should I say something to her about it?
In private of course.
Or should I scold her on her social media page in front of all of her friends?

I make my dog's food from scratch. My 4 yr old has watched the process, and seen how excited the dog gets at mealtimes because she loves her food. DD asked one day if she could taste it. So I gave her about half a teaspoon to try. No big deal.

I don't need to be scolded for that.
