S/O roaming group of dogs in out neighborhood (old Burke VA)

Hi All, the outdoor cats discussion got me thinking about the 3 dogs that run loose around my part of Burke. Very firendly dogs, love to be petted. But i thought this wasn't allowed in Fairfax county. I have no idea who the owner(s) are.

Any ideas?

Do they have tags? How long have they been running free?

So why can't you just leave them be - why create an issue where there is none?

Even friendly dogs poop. If they are running free no one is cleaning up after them. Among other things...

Sorry, that just isn't responsible to let your dog roam the neighborhood like that. I have my own dogs that I am already taking care of.
