Arlington public HS after Catholic school -- how does that work for math/language

| If your child attends a Catholic school thru 8th grade, what happens when they move to public hs in regard to their math and foreign language credit? I know other VA middle school students often earn hs credit for algebra (and sometimes geometry) as well as foreign language. But, the Catholic school doesn't call math "algebra" or "geometry" in their curriculum... they call it math or adv. math. How does that translate to Arlington public hs? |

| No direct experience with APS, but another system and catholic school. The public school requested the course description and aligned it to their curriculum based on that. |
