What can I make with leftover stuffing. Any ideas for appetizers, casseroles, etc? |
Stuffing balls!
Form into 1" balls (moisten with some extra stock if necessary). Brown in a skillet in a little oil, like meatballs. Serve as appetizers. |
Just saw a video of a sort of Shepherds Pie using the stuffing at the bottom covered with left over meat (turkey), Cranberry sauce, mashed potato, veggies, gravy, and a pie shell. A cross between a pot pie and Shepard's Pie. |
Also we used to freeze ours in zip-loc bags and use as needed (baked chicken, etc.) |
These are great ideas. I am taking notes. Thank you! |
We do these, but I add a cooked protein first. Crumbled and sauteed sausage for me. Cooked and drained lentils for my kids. A little chopped spinach or kale, too. I serve with leftover gravy and cranberry sauce for dipping as dinner. |
Oh please god no. |
Capriotti's sandwich the Bobbie
The Bobbie Turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo. |
!!! Wow! |
I fry it in patties and top with fried eggs. Excellent breakfast. Add some sautéed spinach, even better.
Stuffing balls sound awesome, too! Will definitely try those. |
stuffing sandwiches. |

Seconding stuffing waffles. They are amazing! |
We made a Stromboli with leftovers: turkey, cranberry, stuffing, and veggies - so good!! |
We do something similar to this with leftovers. We use a cake pan and add layers of turkey, green beans and/or corn, stuffing, gravy, and mash potatoes. Toss it in the oven and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Top layer is the mash potatoes so they kind of end up like twice backed potatoes. |
