Travel to Dulles Airport

I need to get from Springfiled to IAD with my 11 month old DS. We will have a carseat waiting for us at our destination, so I don't want to travel with one. Anyone know of a taxi/Shuttel company that has carseats available? Or any other options for getting to IAD? Thanks!

Car seats in cabs aren't required in VA, so I don't think cabs are going to have them at all. Do you have any family/friends that could take you in their car, with your carseat?

You can take the metro to West Falls Church (orange line) then take the bus to IAD.

Call around - I know I called a REd Top one and they had car seats. They have to request a particular car that has one, so try and give advanced notice. Just call a couple of local cab companies...it is not a problem.
