Steroids or stress? Which one brought back Aunt Flo 5 years after ablation?

I had uterine ablation. Very successful. No period. For 5 years.

This week, extreme family stress and on prednisone for asthma. Woke up this AM with Aunt Flo. Ob gyn office is closed. Answering service says go to ER if I start soaking pads and just make an appointment on Monday. Not super worried, just annoyed. And curious: did stress or steroids bring my period back?
