Great uncle and aunt? Should know this but I'm drawing a blank. |
Great aunt & Great uncle, but I just called my Uncle Bernie, and my kids are calling my closest uncle "Uncle Jim" |
I know OP it does get confusing, i have cousins to who are they to my kids?
Grand cousins?? |
OP - Great Aunt and Great Aunt PP - your first cousins are your children's first cousins once removed. Your first cousins' kids are your kids' second cousins. |
In some cultures all relations have a name. So, in mine (Indian), it would be named in such a way that the relationship would be clear - so it would be "Aunt who is the daughter of my mom's mother's sister." Though it would be impolite to refer to her as anything other than "Aunt". |
OP here. Thank you for your thoughtful responses. |
They would be your child's great-aunt and great-uncle.
Your child would be their niece or nephew, once removed. |
Gruncle and Graunt ? |
I would say Grand-Uncle and Grand-Aunt.
"Great" would be the generation above them (ie, like great grandparent) |
