If I have an uncle and aunt what is their relation to my child?

Great uncle and aunt? Should know this but I'm drawing a blank.

Great aunt & Great uncle, but I just called my Uncle Bernie, and my kids are calling my closest uncle "Uncle Jim"

OP - Great Aunt and Great Aunt

PP - your first cousins are your children's first cousins once removed. Your first cousins' kids are your kids' second cousins.

In some cultures all relations have a name. So, in mine (Indian), it would be named in such a way that the relationship would be clear - so it would be "Aunt who is the daughter of my mom's mother's sister." Though it would be impolite to refer to her as anything other than "Aunt".

OP here. Thank you for your thoughtful responses.

They would be your child's great-aunt and great-uncle.

Your child would be their niece or nephew, once removed.

Gruncle and Graunt ?

I would say Grand-Uncle and Grand-Aunt.

"Great" would be the generation above them (ie, like great grandparent)
