Not until we were engaged. Didn't give anything deep - wine, fancy chocolates, flowers/plants, etc.

I would bring a really nice flower arrangement for the table and a bottle of wine. Our Whole Foods does really nice ones that are modern in those square vases and one of those would be really nice.
