At what age did you stop getting Santa pictures?

Wondering when is it time to stop getting pictures of DC with Santa? How old is too old?

Never got one. DD got one once - but she was a teenager and went with a group of girlfriends.

I want to know this too! I am guessing when they stop believing, whatever age that may be.

Just took my 8 and 5 year old. Even the older one, who is on the verge of admitting he doesnt believe still got a look of wonder when he went up to Santa. I'm goign to stop when it stops being fun for me and them

This is the age of my kids. We stopped a few years ago when we couldn't find our favorite mall Santa anymore. My older one scrutinizes Santa pictures looking for discrepancies. It would have killed the magic to have Santa pics with completely different Santas. So we "forget" every year

Going with my 8, 10, and 12 year olds this week. The 12 year old tried to say this would be his last, to which I replied, "If you don't believe, you won't receive!"

I know very well the 12 and 10 year olds don't believe any longer, but they are gung ho on keeping it alive for the 8 year old.

My youngest is 8 and still believes so we did Santa pictures last week. All of the kids for the pictures. I expect I'll do it until she stops believing.

LOL!
OP here. I told DC that Santa can change the way he looks, when one year we visited with a non-white Santa.

We have never been able to get Santa pictures. My kids screamed their heads off the first time we took them and the first hasn't ever wanted to go back.

Love it PP!

I posted above and we've been lucky enough to have the same Santa for 5-6 and 7. This Santa should be around for the next few years while DS still believes.
For 0-4 we went to Macy's in NYC when we visited my parents. What a nightmare (LONG LONG LONG lines and about 3 min with Santa including taking the pics)! But the kicker was that some Santa's were definitely better than others and our pics tell the story. Call me old fashioned but I like a nice naturally chubby santa with a real beard. Once we had a Santa who was so clearly far too thin with a fake beard. After waiting 3 hours I was pretty upset.

DDs are 15 and 17 and we will have one taken this week. We have one framed for every year as part of Christmas decorations. Nice to have.

Mine are 12 and 10. We haven't for the last 2-3 years because they really don't want to. I might see if I can get them to this year. That would be fun.

I think you stop when the kid wants to stop. DD, 11, loves looking at the framed pix with Santa we pull out every year. She wants to go tomorrow for this year's pic.
