Who to call about DD new Case manager

Anonymous
So My DD told me on Friday that his Math teacher resigned.... I emailed him to see if this is true no respond from him. Should I wait or email the schools Principal and vice principal? Her IEP meeting is on February. Who will replace the case manager will the school have a long term sub? Will this guy have any idea of what to do in the event of something happens? The problems I have with sub is that my DS is a sub. MY DS is 23 years old and got hired as a sub and he didn't even have to go to an interview just apply online and showed his 60 college credits.....

You need to hold tight. All schools will be closed until Jan. 4. You can email the principal/vice principal but don't expect a response until school opens after winter break.

That will be plenty of time ahead of the Feb. IEP meeting.

I agree with the PP. You can also contact the special ed chair.

So the Math teacher is the Case Manager?

I am confused. This is your second post where you say DD and then "his". Is your DC a boy or girl?

A short term sub will NOT be a case manager. To be honest, in almost two decades in public education, I have never even heard of a long-term sub being assigned a case load.
