After School Program for Kindgarten-are they good?

What would be some of the pros and cons of an after school program? Is it worth the money?

| I am looking into after care programs too. One thing I've learned (in MoCo) is that the quality varies a lot between schools. The programs are run by different outside groups and it really depends on the particular program. |
