I love this idea but I can't find the one in the Wikipedia pic! That would be perfect. The ones on Amazon look a little cheap.

I think my tolerance is evident in the fact that they're invited for christmas and I'm going through the effort of trying to find a gift he might find interesting. Thank you for the suggestion!

For men, I go practical - nice coffee, high quality black socks, a thermos mug that keeps your coffee hot for hours.

If he has some hobby and the equipment he uses for it is a couple decades old, you could replace it.
