Anyone been to Long Caye Island in Belize?

We are looking into going there for a diving trip and I am hoping to learn more about this island. Anyone?

we dove and stayed in ambergis caye. the water isnt clear on the beach like in other area of the carribean which was a dissappointment for the kids. maybe it was just out area. we did the diving/snorkeling and it was worth every penny. the food kind of stunk for the kids too. they arent big fish people.

DH and I just got back from Belize. We also stayed at Ambergris Caye, I thought the water was crystal clear. We thought the food was delicious (but I could see little kids not enjoying it) Placencia is also supposed to be a nice island. The posters over at tripadvisor were really helpful in helping us plan our trip, they may know more about Long Caye Island.

We took a diving trip to Belize and stayed ay Blackbird Caye. It was phenomenal.
