Problems with registering?

I tried to sign up for an account a day or two ago. I got to a screen that said I was registered, and that an email would be sent to me. I have no received said email. Yes, I have checked my spam folder. Any idea what is up? Is this usually a slow process?

I think I know which registration was yours and the issue was that your ISP blocked the email. We send email to ISPs all over the country with almost no problem, but yours had a problem with our email. The issue was very technical and -- strictly speaking -- your ISP was correct, but extremely anal. I don't know of any other ISP that takes such a hardline about email. At any rate, I fixed the issue that was bothering them and now email should go through. However, I'm not sure how you will be able to get the registration email again. Maybe try registering again or, in the worse case, use a slightly different username. Also, be aware that almost no users register for this site. Almost everyone posts anonymously.

TY for the help. I'll try it again. And, I know. I've been using the site off & on for at least 2 years. But sometimes one wants to be able to send or receive PMs.
