My late twenties dh is still happily drinking away at his company holiday dinner.
I'm starting to get annoyed.
|
| It's 10:30 lighten the F up |
Um, it's an annual party, he's in his 20s. What were you expecting? Let him enjoy his time with his team.
|
| you sound like my DH. he annoys me so. |
| Why are you annoyed? I seriously can't imagine being annoyed by this. |
How about you get a hobby and keep busy? When you have your own interesting life, you don't worry about this petty crap. |
| Sounds fine and normal to me. |
|
Annual holiday party - no big deal.
If this was every week and you had kids, then yes, then there's beef. |
? I meant my DH is the one waiting for me to come home at 10:30 when I'm at a party. He's the one who needs a hobby. I have plenty. |
Does he have a drinking problem? Is that the concern? |
My ex stayed out until usually 1:00-1:30 am M - F after work and told me to "get a life" when I complained about this. I got a divorce. 10:30 for a holiday party is not a big deal. But just to be clear, you do have a life. You have a young married life. Enjoy it! WITH your DH on a regular basis. |
| OMG please. You sound like a total psycho. |
|
You're so right, OP.
Instead of being at his work party and chatting and schmoozing with the higher-ups, as any sane person in his 20's would, he should have left at 7:15 to sit home with you and watch Top Chef. |
|
Here's the thing.
You will post on here when he doesn't make partner. What do you want from him? |
| 10:30 would be very early to be home from the holiday party. My husband has his tonight. I expect him to come home at around 12:30. |
