Yes my 1st grader loves school, and my twin kindergartners love K, too. I also have a child in AAP. My 1st grader is at Clermont, but let DCUM tell it it's a crappy school because greatschools only gives it a 6, but we love it!

He likes it, doesn't love it. Last year he hated it, so I think this is a huge improvement.

My dd loved Kindergarten and first grade. She watches the clock in the morning because she wants to get to school. (Ours starts really late). Virginia Run ES out in the distant suburbs.

Yes. I feel confident he does because he recently switched schools and the difference in his behavior and way he talks about his day is stark. We are in Montgomery county at a school with smaller class sizes.

Yes, my 1st grader loves it. He is great at math, and his teacher this year goes out of her way to give him advanced work in that area. We are in ACPS. Flame away.

Mine did as a first grader last year, in McLean/Vienna area, FCPS. Still loves it now as a 2nd grader.

There's at least two of us, then . We just moved in last summer but have been pleasantly surprised with all the neighborhood activities and the school (not gonna lie, DH was the one pushing for moving all the way out here)!

Make that three of us My son is in 1st grade there and loves it. He also loved kindergarten last year. Our twins will start K next Fall and I hope they enjoy it just as much as he did.

My daughter is happy going to school except when other children behave like beasts and her teacher has no control on it.
